The local wine from the Maures is a PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) produced only in the Var department.
Often wrongly considered as inferior, local wines are very aromatic, full-bodied and frank on the palate. Although less refined than the Côtes de Provence, they remain very nice.

The red and rosé wines are mostly made with Merlot, Sauvignon and Mourvedre; white, with Ugni Blanc or Viognier. It is not uncommon to see also the Sauvignon.

Maures Rosé 2018

"Mademoiselle Rose" Rosé Vin de Pays des Maures 2018 (PGI)

Extremely fresh, this rosé is perfect with summer barbecues.

Maures white 2018

"Mademoiselle Rose" White Vin de Pays des Maures 2018 (PGI)

Viognier (90%) et Sauvignon Blanc (10%)

Very expressive, with floral notes, this is a festive wine. It is ideal as an aperitif and with an assortment of fresh goat cheese.

Available in magnum (1,5l)

Local red wine

"Mademoiselle Rose" Rouge Vin de Pays des Maures 2018

Merlot (80%) et Syrah (20%)

Le nez riche, la bouche élégante et les tannins soyeux de cet assemblage développent des notes de cerise noire et de pruneau relevées par une pointe de bois frais, et se prolongent sur des arômes de fruits mûrs.
